HOW TO MAKE LEMON GARLIC SAUTEED SWISS CHARD

Not only is this dish super yummy, it’s fabulously easy to make, too! From prep to the finishing touches, it only takes about 20 minutes.

  1. First, clean and chop the Swiss chard (check out my All about Swiss chard post for tips!).
  2. Then heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for a minute or two, until you get that great garlicky fragrance going.
  3. Next add the chopped chard. Saute for a few minutes so that the leaves get tender and soft.
  4. Lastly, add lemon juice, salt and pepper, and stir well. Remove from the heat and serve warm.

Done!

Like most sauteed leafy greens, Swiss chard is best when enjoyed right away. Technically you can keep leftovers in the fridge for a few days, but the dish will definitely lose its vibrancy when reheated.
