Ingredients

  • 3 ounces vodka or spirit of choice (2 shot glasses worth)
  • 1 cup Dr. Brew Strawberry Basil Kombucha
  • 1 Tablespoon agave nectar can substitute with maple syrup or honey if not vegan
  • 1/4 cup strawberries finely chopped (about 2-3 strawberries depending on size)
  • 6 fresh basil leaves finely chopped

Instructions

  • Chop strawberries and basil and put in the mortar.
  • Add agave nectar and use pestle to release the juices of the strawberries and basil.
  • Divide strawberry and basil mixture into two cocktail glasses. Add ice and 1.5 ounces of vodka in each glass. Top with kombucha. Garnish with s strawberry slice and basil (optional).

Notes

If you do not own a mortar and pestle, you can muddle the strawberries and basil on a cutting board and use the bottom of a mug or mason jar as the pestle. Then transfer to a small bowl and mix with agave nectar.
