Heat 1 Tablespoon olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and cook until softened (about 5-7 minutes).
Add garlic, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Set aside the pan. You'll be using this to cook the veggie burgers!
Add onion mixture to the food processor. Add cassava flour, black beans, cilantro, Worcestershire sauce, and flax meal. Pulse until combined.
Remove the food processor lid and scrape sides with a rubber spatula. If the mixture is too dry, add 1 Tablespoon of water and pulse to combine.
Form patties. Heat 1 Tablespoon of olive oil on medium heat. Add veggie burgers and cook 1-2 minutes on both sides.
Serve on a bun with lettuce, tomato, and vegan mayo!)

Instead of cassava flour, you can substitute with 1/2 cup all-purpose flour or 1/2 cup breadcrumbs.
