Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil until onions are translucent.

Add to blender with soaked cashews, almond milk, lemon juice, nutritional yeast, salt and pepper.

Blend until smooth.

Cook pasta and steam broccoli at the same time. I like to place a wire strainer over the pasta while its boiling.

Drain pasta and add back to pot. Add broccoli and sauce. Mix well.
