Fresh strawberry orange juice paired with champagne is the most delicious mimosa recipe! These strawberry mimosas are about to up your brunch game big time!
Lately, I’ve been on quite the mimosa kick (and you should be too!)
From lavender lemonade to watermelon mint mimosas and even a grapefruit mimosa with rosé, I love fun mimosa flavors.
Mimosas are a fun drink for all occasions and strawberry mimosas are the perfect Summer flavor!
Strawberry mimosa ingredients
Strawberry mimosa calls for just 3 ingredients; orange juice, strawberries, and champagne.
The best orange juice for mimosas is either fresh squeezed or a store-bought kind with pulp. Orange juice with pulp tastes more similar to fresh squeezed.
How do you make strawberry mimosas
- Add strawberries and orange juice to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour champagne into a flute by holding the glass at a 45-degree angle.
- Top off with orange-strawberry juice and add garnishes.
Best champagne for strawberry mimosas
A cheap to mid-range Brut or Cava are your best options for mimosas. You can also get away with a dry Prosecco but that tends to be on the sweeter side.
I recommend going with a Brut for this strawberry mimosa recipe!
How to make mimosas in a pitcher
Have a large crowd to please? Try making mimosas in a pitcher!
- Prepare the juice blend and pour into a large pitcher
- Add chopped fresh fruit and place int he fridge until ready to serve
- Pour in chilled champagne and stir before serving
Can you make non-alcoholic mimosas?
Yes! Just replace the champagne with some carbonated drink like La Croix to make a virgin mimosa.

I am a big fan of Mimosas for brunch! I have been making special Sunday brunches since we are in lockdown, and these are a must (and even more so in the summer when we get fresh fruit from the garden)!
Using fresh fruit for mimosas is the best!
This is exactly what I need now! So refreshing and bubbly! Too bad I don’t have Champagne at home….
Yes it’s so refreshing!
I love how delicious this is and how easy it is for entertaining. We make the strawberry orange juice ahead of time and keep the pitcher in the fridge.
That sounds like the BEST thing to keep on hand!
What a tasty brunch cocktail! I just love the subtle tartness that the strawberries add. Perfect spring mimosa!

I’d like to serve this at a drive-by shower for approximately 100 people. Would this work with frozen strawberries?
Hi Moana, Yes it should work with frozen strawberries!
This is such a fantastic and refreshing. Great read. It’s always an experiment to try different fruits to make mimosa, which makes the entire process exciting and hopefully worth it. thanks for sharing the nice post.
Thank you, Cathy!
Making for a baby shower. Can the mixture of strawberries and juice be made in advance the night before? Just add the champagne the day of?
Hi Lyzette! Yes, that will work!
Is it normal for this to fizz like crazy when you pour in the strawberry oj mix?
No, it shouldn’t! You can try pouring it at an angle. What type of champagne did you use?
Made this today, Christmas day 2020 and it is the simplest recipe to follow. Tasted very delicious. Thank you for sharing this with us.
So happy you enjoyed it!
Can you use store-bought strawberry orange juice?
Yes, that should work just fine!
This is a simple ever recipe to make I tried this and it’s gone so perfect thanks for sharing this STRAWBERRY MIMOSA Recipe
Do you think this would work fine in a drink dispenser with a spout? I’m worried about the pupl and strawberry clogging it? What do you think?
It might! I honestly never have luck with drink dispensers to begin with.
To make in pitcher, how much of each do i mix?
Hi! You would want to use the quantities in the recipe so 2 cups of OJ and 1/2 cup strawberries blended. Then add the champagne when you are ready to serve.
